2026 RIMiAD Mentorship Program—
Apply Below!

January is National Mentoring Month and we are excited to announce the 2026 RIMiAD Mentorship Program. Last year, we paired 11 mentees and 11 mentors from different professional levels and design sectors and it was a great success. We’re looking forward to building on that momentum this year!  If you’re interested in participating in this year’s program, see below for details. Also, please join us at our next meet-up on later this month. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the mentorship program and meet other potential mentors and mentees.

PROGRAM DETAILS:
The application period will be open until Sunday, February 8, 2026. Applicants should be able to commit to meeting at least four times in a six-month period.  Meetings can take place in-person or virtually, this will be left up to the individuals to decide. Additionally, there will be two in-person mentorship mixers where the entire cohort will gather.

FUTURE MENTORS:
Have you ever wanted to give back to your community and offer an invaluable service? Do you have a skillset that others could benefit from and/or do you want to share your life experience with others? Then consider becoming a mentor! Mentoring allows people to learn from one another, providing a path to skill and knowledge transfer. Below is a link to a questionnaire that will serve as your application to the program.

FUTURE MENTEES:
Are you feeling stuck and in need of career advice?  Are you in the process of testing to obtain your license? Are you struggling to find work-life balance? Are you looking to start your own business but don’t know how? A one-on-one mentorship with a seasoned professional can be invaluable when you’re in need of a sounding board. The questionnaire below will serve as your application and we will try to match you with a mentor that fits your needs.

It is with deep gratitude that we welcome all those who are giving their time to this program and we are looking forward to the strengthened relationships and mutual learning this program will bring.
